connection
the vision of Connection Ministries is to see every person in paradox church living out the ministry God has given them personally. if you have an idea, we will pray with you; if you have a plan, we will help make it happen. connecting people is who we are. for more information, contact pastor debi personally at debi.dennison@theparadoxchurch.org.
mission
the mission of connection ministries is three-fold: helping people find and implement ministry, connecting the paradox community with each other and welcoming every guest who joins us.
finding your ministry
God has given every person talents and gifts to be used to see hurting people become whole. whether your passion is to lead a new ministry or to be a part of something that already exists, there is a place for you at paradox church. if you feel that God may be leading you to a certain ministry, but are just not sure yet, we invite you to a no-obligation test drive. you can, in essence, see all of the details of the ministry and how it functions and then decide whether or not that particular ministry is for you. if you feel God has laid a burden to begin a new ministry of paradox church, contact pastor debi. with her help, you will create a ministry plan and make sure it aligns with the vision of paradox church.
connect with the paradox community
as a "community within a community," paradox has joy and sorrow. the goal of the connection ministry is to "live the kingdom lifestyle" which Jesus, our rabbi, described as a close-knit insular family. through C3 events, connection ministry gives everyone the opportunity to have fun, learn and grow together. quarterly, we have a covenant community carry-in with a community chat to give everyone an opportunity to hear from the pastors as well as a time for q&a. throughout the year, the community events team also plans other activities to help build community.
first touch ministries
leviticus 19:33-34 says: "'when foreigners reside among you in your land, do not mistreat them. the foreigners residing among you must be treated as your native-born. love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in egypt. I am the Lord your God.'" every person who walks through the doors of paradox church is welcome. at one time, each of us was a stranger. each of us is daily growing and at times feels lost, alone, confused and has questions.
if you are wondering if paradox church is for you, come check us out at one of our sunday morning gatherings. the coffee is always hot, the water always cold, the atmosphere accepting, and we will never embarrass you. if you would like to serve in the first touch ministry as a greeter, usher, café or information table volunteer, please contact debi at debi.dennison@theparadoxchurch.org.
