the paradox church finance & accounting (f&a) team believes in financial transparency and openness to all members of the congregation. the f&a team strives to provide members with visibility into many financial aspects of the church. we do not believe this should be closed-door or secretive in any way. rather, we believe it is in the church’s best interest to provide complete insight into where God’s money is being spent and allowing complete interaction among all members of the congregation. of course, all personal contribution information will be kept private; that is between the giver and God - no one else's business.

how do we accomplish this?

• presenting the upcoming fiscal year’s budget to the congregation and soliciting comments/recommendations prior to approval
• providing paradox’s monthly and year-to-date contribution and expense figures to members of the church that is readily available each week
• presenting a variety of financial information (income statement, balance sheet, budget tracking, etc.) at paradox’s quarterly covenant community meeting
